Nobody likes to think about the end of life. And yet, many seniors, and their families, are choosing to plan for the end of life. They know that funerals are expensive, and that funeral home usually need to be paid right away. They also know that this sad time will mean losing time from work, settling debts, cleaning out a home, and many other things that will require money.
I know someone who went to the shopping centre on two feet and came back home on life support, paralyzed and disabled. God forbid that happens to me, and hence I thought of getting total & permanent disability insurance done for my family and me. This means, if I am disabled due to someone else’s act or folly, there would still be a check coming to me every month. Hence I wouldn’t have to worry about not being able to earn, since a disabled person would be on bed and unable to work. Your life insurance policy would come with this scheme.
If you are having an open casket, you usually do not have to buy the casket at the funeral home where you will be laid out at. They can ship caskets to fort worth funeral homes. You do have the option of shopping around if you preplan your funeral to get the casket that you want.
Be careful when someone says they are an accountant. I hear bookkeepers and secretaries say this all the time and they don’t know the difference between a journal entry and the coffee pot. Not to undermine secretaries and bookkeepers. I respect them all and I greatly appreciate their work as I have many working on my team, but they are NOT accountants. I will not tell my clients that they are such. This is not a fair description of who they are and their qualifications.
No one wants to worry about money now, and some even consider it crass, but you must get things in order quickly. You’ll have to gather the deceased paperwork to find out if there is money to be used for the funeral in the form of a life insurance policy.
My colleagues and friends in college were awesome and we were all accounting students. We went out for drinks, went dancing at clubs, went to the lake swimming and skiing, worked out at local gyms, etc etc. Life is not dull for us at all and as a business owner and accountant now, I can guarantee you that my life is anything but boring. I have 2 small children, a husband (business partner), employees, family, friends, clubs and organization meetings and the list goes on. If I have time to take care of chores, this is a perk in the week.
Play Solo Gigs. If you can play and sing, you can offer your services to restaurants, bars, events, corporate functions, parties, etc. You could try busking, but make sure to check with any local laws surrounding buskers and suitable locations. Make sure your music is appropriate for each situation, and it is recommended that you learn many popular songs since solo acts tend to get many requests. You can even throw in your originals and sell CDs on the side if it is appropriate to do so.
Columbia City also has a haunted funeral home and this one was once owned by a hospital. There are stories of ghosts, electrical problems and things being moved. In addition staff of the hospital claim to feel someone watching them or having an uncomfortable feeling when left there alone at night.
