The Tracking service is for your family or friends to know where you are and where you were. If the cellphone is carried by a child, a senior or a patient, the guardian of the person can know where the person is immediately and avoid the loss of the track of the person. It can also be used as a tool for training of running, driving, boating, flying, skiing, etc because this service will record the exact date, time, location, speed and heading of the moving object. With the detail track, you can easily evaluate the skills. Another important application of the tracking service is for location data collection. The first screen of this service is to set the frequency for updating the location. You can set the frequency to once per second to once per hour depending on your needs (Picture 1). Once you select a frequency, pressing softkey "Track" will start the tracking process immediately. Locamagic will display the tracking result on a screen (Picture 2) with date, time, NAC, speed and heading, update the data periodically at the give frequency, and send the information to the server in the same frequency. If you want to stop the tracking service, you can press the softkey "Stop"(Picture 2) to stop it. If you press softkey "Back" on the In Tracking page, the tracking will continue until you go back to this page and stop it or exit Locamagic completely. That is, you can keep the tracking at the same time as you use any other service (Locating, Navigating, Searching and Monitoring). Then authorized persons can use desktop web browsers anywhere in the world to login to the account and click "Show cellphone locations" link to open the map that will show all the latest track points on both a map and a list (Picture 3). It always numbers from the latest tracking point as one to the oldest track point. The number of total track points can be up to 100. If you want to keep the track points, you should copy and paste the track points on the list to a text editor and save them because Locamagic will overwrite the oldest track points if the number of the track points has reached 100. You can also modify the track points or copy the track points of a saved file onto the list and click "Update Data" button to plot the modified track. The map can be panned in all directions and zoomed in all scales by clicking the arrow buttons on the map frame or the scale bars on the right of the map. You cam also retrieve any map in the world with a NAC using the query on the top right corner of the screen. You can use this feature to get the map of any Universal Address (i.e. eight or ten character NAC) obtained from other people too. The icons on the map will not only show the locations of the track points, but also the directions. You can also move the cursor to a track point on the map to see the number, date, time, NAC, speed and direction of the track point. Once the map window is opened, the tracking data on the map will not be updated. If you want to see the new updates, you should close the map window and then open it again to load all the new data.
