This service provides you the capability to find nearby businesses and facilities of your current location or any given location within a specified radius and a category selected from a comprehensive list of categories. The first screen of this service is the list of all the available categories (Picture 1) and you can use up and down arrow buttons to select one you are interested in and press softkey "Select" to go to the Input screen. On the Input screen (Picture 2), you need to give a place for the search. The place can be the current GPS location ("HERE", "H" or "h"), a street address (Picture 3), a NAC (Picture 4), a street intersection, a POI, a postcode/ZIP or a city similar to that of Locating service. If the radius is not zero, an input for the Place is always interpreted as a point location and the given radius will be used to determine the searching area, even if the place is given by a NAC (interpreted as the center of the NAC) or a city (a reference point of the city). If the radius is set to "0", the situation will be different, in which the real radius will be the default radius of the place. If a place is specified by a street address, a street intersection, a postcode/ZIP or an eight- or ten-character NAC, the default radius is 1 km or mile. If the place is specified by a NAC with fewer than eight characters (Picture 4), the default radius will be the size of the area represented by the NAC. A six-character NAC represents an area about one square kilometer, a four-character NAC is an area about 30 kilometers in both length and width like a city, and a two-character NAC represents an area about 1000 kilometers in both length and width like a province. Therefore, you can use one NAC to specify both where and what size of an area anywhere in the world to simplify the input with a reduction of more than 80% of key input. If the place is specified by a city, the default radius will be the real size of the city. This can help people find all their interested businesses and facilities within a city without the knowledge of the size of the city. The radius is always given in your prefered unit of distance that you selected on the registration form. It can be in kilometer or mile. Radius can be set from 1 to 80 kilometers (50 miles). Once the Place and radius are given, pressing softkey "OK" will start the searching. Locamagic will present the searching result first on a map with numbered icons representing found businesses (Picture 5). You can roughly know the locations of these businesses. You can use the arrow buttons to move the map to see all the found items.	Picture 5
Pressing softkey "List" will present all found businesses on a detail list with the name, address, phone (if available) and NAC of each found business (Picture 6). On that screen, you can press softkey "Drive" to get the driving directions from the searching Place to the location of the selected item on the list. If you want, you can also make a phone call to the selected business on the list by pressing "OK" button (not the softkey) without the need to type the phone number of the selected business. With the Searching service, you can find all nearby businesses and facilities in categories: ATM, Airport, Auto services, Bank, Car rental, Cinema, Gas station, Hospital, Hotel, Library, Parking, Rest area, Restaurant, Shopping, Police station, Tourist info, University, Chinese food, Fast food, French food, Greek food, Grill, Indian food, Italian food, Japanese food, Jewish food, Mexican food, Sandwich, Sea food, Steak house, Thai food, Turkish food, and Vegetarian food of your current location or any specified location or place. Therefore, with Locamagic, you will never be starved, run out of gas, and run out of cash due to unfamiliarity of an area. You can find the place to rest and park your car whenever you need on any trip.
